Art FAQ's for T-shirt Printing It seems that just about everyone enjoys creating graphics on their computers. The following information might be a little boring but it is worth giving a look over before sending us your art. The T-shirt screen printed design that most teams and small businesses have in their budget often cannot be created from the average clipart collection. Please be aware many of the drawing features like air brush effects, gradients, multi-colors etc. often are not affordable for small quantity orders. So what type artwork can you supply us with if you want to design your own artwork and save money in the process?
Photos and color clipart artwork cannot be easily transformed into screen printable T-shirt art. Many of these files require a lot of cleanup time, hence artwork charges before the design will be ready for printing. Most clipart collections like Corel, Art Explosion, Print Master, etc. which contain multiple colors and shadings will not be appropriate for you if you are budgeting for a one color print job. Also, if the color image is captured off the web the resolution is usually too low to work for T-Shirt art without extensive cleanup. Vector format files from the following programs usually do not require additional clean-up charges. We are a cross-platform shop and accept vector artwork in the following formats.
***If your vector artwork includes fonts please convert the fonts to outlines. The following formats are acceptable but will require additional art fees in the range of $25.00-$50.00 depending on the time required to make the artwork ready for printing.
